And this figure continues to rise, more precisely by 41% between 2019 and 2022.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But what\u2019s most alarming is that it\u2019s no longer physical problems that are the main cause of long-term sick leave, but psychological disorders.<\/span>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\"><strong>Psychosocial risks: what are they?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The term psychosocial risk refers to situations where we may be confronted with\u2026<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>\u00a0\ud83d\udfe9\u00a0 Stress<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: for example, an imbalance between the demands of our professional environment and our own ability to cope.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>\u00a0\ud83d\udfe9\u00a0 Internal violence:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for example, moral or sexual harassment, or intense conflict between individuals or teams.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>\u00a0\ud83d\udfe9\u00a0 External violence<\/b>: for example, aggression from people outside the company, including insults, threats or assaults.\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\"><strong>What are the 6 psychosocial risk factors?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The way our work is organised and our work environment has an impact on our exposure to psychosocial risks. But it hasn&#8217;t come without its negative impacts.<\/span>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Information overload:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> employees are often overwhelmed by an avalanche of emails, instant messages and constant notifications, which can lead to increased stress and reduced concentration.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Blurred boundaries between professional and personal life<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: home-working and constant access to work tools via digital devices have made it difficult to separate professional and personal life, which can lead to burnout.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Cyber-harassment and online bullying<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: via harmful uses of corporate communication platforms.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<h2><strong><span style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Detecting and preventing psychosocial risks<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But whilst technology can sometimes be accused of playing a role in triggering mental health problems in the workplace, it also offers innovative solutions for detecting, preventing and managing psychosocial risks.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Proactive monitoring<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: technological tools can monitor employee well-being indicators in real time. This data can help managers to quickly identify signs of stress or demotivation, thus enabling early intervention.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Anonymous and confidential communication<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: technological platforms provide a space where employees can report problems anonymously.
