Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Courir?

I am Laetitia Génot, Head of HR Development for Groupe Courir. Courir is a French company currently operating in six European countries: France, Spain, Portugal, and the three Benelux countries. We have around 3,000 employees.

What are your main HR challenges?

Our current HR challenges are primarily focused on developing training programs, supporting employees throughout their careers, and facilitating their growth both in their current roles and future positions.

Can you elaborate on your approach to performance development?

At Courir, we place a strong emphasis on career management through our management rituals. We aim to standardize these rituals across all countries and continuously improve them to make them more relevant and effective. This includes working on the frequency of reviews and making the most of the data collected.

How does Zest fit into your performance and employee support strategy?

Zest is central to our performance and support strategy. We use Zest for all our management rituals, including annual reviews, mid-year reviews, and onboarding interviews for all new employees, both in France and abroad. We also plan to introduce monthly reviews for our stores to centralize everything in one tool.

What has been Zest’s impact on your processes before and after its adoption?

The difference before and after adopting Zest is significant. Previously, we didn’t have a tool for our reviews, which made Zest a game-changer for us. We can now collect all reviews and employee data, and better listen to their feedback through recurring questions in the annual and mid-year reviews. This allows us to monitor employee satisfaction and provide better support over time.

Would you recommend Zest to other companies?

Yes, I would highly recommend Zest. What I particularly appreciate about Zest is that the tool is simple and intuitive for employees. From an HR perspective, the standout feature is the competence and responsiveness of the Zest team, which is far above the average of other providers I work with. I would say Zest is like a Swiss Army knife for career management.
